Denver, CO – March 18, 2025 – Parsyl Inc., a data-powered insurer of complex supply chains, today announced that Ted Calligeros joined the company as its Head of Cargo for North America. In this role, he will drive underwriting strategy and expansion across the region.
Ted brings a decade of underwriting expertise to Parsyl’s leadership team. He joins Parsyl from Loadsure, a cargo-focused insurtech, where he served as Executive Vice President, leading ocean cargo and inland marine underwriting. Before that, he spent eight years at Allianz in various cargo underwriting roles.
“We’ve been carefully searching for the right person to lead our North American cargo expansion, and Ted checks all the boxes,” said Ben Hubbard, CEO and co-founder of Parsyl. “He is widely respected, has strong underwriting management experience and shares our ambition for growth. Plus, he knows what a dynamic start up environment is like. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”
“I’m excited to join Parsyl at such a pivotal time for the company. Parsyl’s technology is transforming how we underwrite and manage risk across supply chains. I look forward to working with such an innovative team and bringing our solutions to more brokers and clients in the US and Canada,” said Ted Calligeros.
Based in New York City, Ted will establish a local office and continue to build out Parsyl’s North American underwriting team to serve more clients and manage a broader range of risks.
